THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING JACIE HOYT
Jacie Hoyt is the women’s basketball head coach at Oklahoma State University, a role she took over on March 20 after serving as head coach at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2017 to 2022.
At 35, Hoyt is one of the youngest coaches in Division I women’s basketball. She led Kansas City to the 2020 Western Athletic Conference regular-season championship and was honored as the 2020 WAC Coach of the Year.
Today on the podcast, we talk to Jacie Hoyt about her new role in Stillwater, creating a winning culture of love within her team, showing gratitude to God for her journey, and the importance of praying for her players before each game.
Happy Easter! This is my FAVORITE holiday! Why?! Because as a competitor and a Believer of Jesus it’s my/our opportunity to point to the cross and empty tomb and chant to the enemy “Scoreboard, scoreboard, scoreboard!!!” HE IS RISEN 🙌🏼
