THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING HEATH EVANS
Heath Evans is a former NFL player who was selected in the third round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He went on to play 10 seasons with the Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints, and he won a Super Bowl in 2009 with New Orleans.
After retiring, he started a broadcasting career at NFL Network that lasted from 2012 until 2017. He is now doing work with his company “Built Ready,” fighting to help men master Biblical manhood both spiritually and physically.
Today on the podcast, we talk to Heath Evans about his spiritual transformation, which has seen him go from a fan to a follower of Jesus Christ. He also talks about his valley moments, including a divorce and a firing from his job at NFL Network, and how these moments have helped shape him as a dad and husband today, and why he is all in on growing as a Christ-follower.
Isaiah 5:20-21
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light⁰and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,⁰and shrewd in their own sight! pic.twitter.com/2szIZWmy0v— Heath Evans (@HeathEvans44) October 29, 2022
