SS PODCAST: Former NFL WR Golden Tate on retirement life, seeking purpose in God

Golden Tate is a former NFL wide receiver who played 11 seasons in the league with the Seahawks, Lions, Eagles and Giants. Seattle selected him in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft, and three years later he was a Super Bowl champion.

He signed a free agent deal in March 2014 with Detroit, where he played four and a half seasons before being traded to Philadelphia in the middle of the 2018 season. He played his final two years with the New York Giants, finishing with career regular-season totals of 8,278 yards and 46 touchdowns.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Golden Tate about growing in his faith, adjusting to retirement life, and seeking God for his true purpose now that his playing career is over.
