Colin Ford is an actor who stars alongside Dennis Quaid in the new movie “The Hill,” in theaters starting Friday. Ford plays former pro baseball pitcher Rickey Hill, and the movie tells the extraordinary story of Hill overcoming a degenerative spinal disease to become a baseball phenomenon.
Ford has been an actor since he was a child. He voiced Jake in “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” on Disney Channel, and played Steve Danvers in the 2019 movie “Captain Marvel.” He also worked alongside Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson in the 2011 film “We Bought a Zoo.”
Today on the podcast, we talk to Colin Ford about training to be a baseball player for his new movie, the importance of his faith in God, the Bible passage he most clings to, being star-struck acting alongside Matt Damon, and his favorite sports movie.
