THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING STEVE STENSTROM
Steve Stenstrom is a former NFL quarterback who played six seasons with the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos. In college, Stenstrom was a standout quarterback for Stanford under coaches Denny Green and Bill Walsh. He still holds numerous Stanford passing records, including career passing yards (10,911) and career completions (866).
After his playing career ended in 2001, Stenstrom went into sports ministry at Stanford, and is currently the president of Pro Athletes Outreach and Sports Spectrum. In October 2023, he released his first book, “The 3:30 Life: Living By Design Rather Than Default.”
Today on the podcast, Steve Stenstrom discusses his new book, personal stories from his NFL career, playing for coach Bill Walsh, and the importance of living a life in Christ by design.
After following Jesus for more than 30 years, I wrote a book about much of what I’ve learned. It’s taken several years of work but I’m humbled to finally hold one in my hands. Thank you Father for the joy of discovering life according to your design! 🙏
