THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING GABE MCGLOTHAN

Gabe McGlothan is a redshirt senior forward with the Grand Canyon University men’s basketball team. In the 2022-23 season, McGlothan was named to the All-WAC second team after averaging 12.8 points and a team-leading 7.6 rebounds in helping his team to the NCAA Tournament. In 2023-24, he once again leads his team in rebounding and in a win over No. 25 San Diego State on Dec. 5, he had 15 points and 13 rebounds in helping the Lopes to their first ever victory over a ranked opponent.

McGlothan played his high school basketball in Chandler, Arizona, winning a state championship in 2017. After a year of prep school in Putnam, Connecticut, he signed on with Southeast Missouri State. After one season, he decided to transfer to Grand Canyon.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Gabe McGlothan about his greatest accomplishment, his Big Dance moment in March 2023, and why he reads the Bible on the bench before introductions of each game.
