David Hess is a former MLB pitcher who was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the fifth round of the 2014 MLB Draft. He made his MLB debut in 2018 with the Orioles and stayed with Baltimore until 2020. In 2021, he was with Miami and Tampa Bay.
After a cancer diagnosis in 2021, Hess battled and returned to pro baseball, pitching in Triple-A with Tampa’s organization in 2022, before his cancer returned in 2023.
Today on the podcast, we talk to David Hess about his current battle with cancer, facing fear, standing firm in God’s faithfulness, and celebrating the small moments.
