SS PODCAST: Nevada QB Chubba Purdy on overcoming injuries, God's plan, his big brother

Chubba Purdy is a quarterback in his first season with the University of Nevada. Previously, he was with Nebraska and Florida State.

In high school, Purdy led Perry High (Gilbert, Arizona) to the 2018 state championship game and totaled 59 touchdowns on the season. In 2019, he accounted for 52 touchdowns and 4,400 yards of total offense, and was named Arizona Offensive Player of the Year.

Today on the podcast, Chubba Purdy joins us and reflects on his journey as a football player and the importance of faith and family in his life. He shares how his brother, 49ers QB Brock Purdy, has been an inspiration to him, and how he witnessed Brock’s perseverance and success in the NFL. Chubba also talks about the experience of watching his big brother play in the Super Bowl and then get married earlier this year.
