NFL Game of the Week: Seattle Seahawks vs Green Bay Packers

Let the NFL season begin!

With the regular slate of games beginning on Sunday, we go to Lambeau Field with what could turn out to be a preview of the NFC Championship game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers in Sports Spectrum’s game the week.

Jason Romano: Seattle 23, Green Bay 20 — Upset special! I like the Seahawks a lot this year and they go into Lambeau and slow down Aaron Rodgers to come away with an impressive season opening win.

Justin Adams: Green Bay 27, Seattle 23 — In the homecoming of Eddie Lacy, the Green Bay Packers will feed their former tailback a dish of humble pie. Ok, setting all jokes aside, Aaron Rodgers and his receivers will do just enough against Seattle’s tough defense. Look for Packers tight end Martellus Bennett to get several TD catches in the red zone.

Jon Ackerman: Green Bay 27, Seattle 20 — The Packers are always tough to beat at Lambeau Field, and typically start seasons well. The Seahawks, meanwhile, are notorious for starting slow. I think that trend continues, at least in Week 1. Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson and new addition Martellus Bennett are ready to get one of the NFL’s most potent passing attacks rolling.
