Alabama’s football team was celebrating on Sunday, when their squad was selected in the 2018 College Football Playoff. The matchup is a familiar one for Alabama as they face No. 1 seed Clemson for a third straight year.
On the field football accomplishments are one thing, but for Alabama’s redshirt freshman cornerback Nigel Knott, the decision he made on Sunday off the field has eternal ramifications.

“Happy to say I have decided to give my life to God!”
Knott shared the news on his twitter and Instagram pages Sunday afternoon, with a video of him being baptized at the Church of the Highlands in Northport, Alabama.

Knott enrolled at Alabama in 2016 and was a four-star cornerback from Madison, Mississippi.
He was a top prospect coming out of high school, ranking No. 36 overall and the No. 5 cornerback on ESPN’s 300 recruiting network.
Knott played in just two games in 2017 before sustaining an injury in early November.
Malachi 3:1 KJV: “Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.”
