WATCH: 'Sports Spectrum Football Special' - Episode 3 with Benjamin Watson

The “Sports Spectrum Football Special,” a new show hosted by FOX Sports NFL analyst Brock Huard, streams Episode 3 on Wednesday, Jan. 6. It features former NFL tight end Benjamin Watson.

The show is presented by Football Sunday and Compassion International, and features stories at the intersection of football and faith. The show will be streamed on YouTube, Facebook and here at SportsSpectrum.com.

Compassion International — a Christ-centered, church-based ministry dedicated to releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name — recently launched its “Fill the Stadium” initiative, led by many in the pro sports community. The campaign seeks to provide essential food, medical care and support for children and their families during this pandemic. The goal is to reach 70,000 children — which would fill an average-size NFL stadium — who were left without sponsorship funding when more than 1,200 child sponsorship events had to be canceled due to the pandemic. Football Sunday 2021 is coming on Feb. 7 and is a great opportunity to leverage football’s biggest day to bring the Gospel to your church. Featured stories in 2021 will be Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz, Houston Texans WR Brandin Cooks and NFL linebacker Sam Acho. The film will be hosted by Watson and Hall of Fame coach Tony Dungy. You can sign up now at FootballSunday.com.
