Daniel Carlson is a two-time All-Pro kicker with the Las Vegas Raiders. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, but after just two games played, he was released. He was picked up about a month later by the Raiders, and in 2021 led the NFL with 40 field goals made. In 2022, he set an NFL record for most 50-plus-yard field goals made in a season with 11.
In college, Carlson was a three-time second-team All-American with the Auburn Tigers. His younger brother, Anders, is currently the kicker with the Green Bay Packers.
Today on the podcast, Daniel Carlson shares how Jesus is his foundation and the source of unconditional love in his life. He talks about the importance of prioritizing time with God and finding confidence in Him. Carlson also discusses his favorite moments in the NFL, including a game-winning kick that sent the Raiders to the playoffs, as well as highlighting the passionate fan base of the Raiders and the joy of being a father to three children.
