In what ESPN and other press members deemed “Black Monday” (at least they didn’t call it Fire-gate or something like that) two NFL coaches got the pink slip and one father and son dynamic duo were booted off of the ranch on Monday.
Head coach Steve Spagnuolo and along with GM Billy Devaney were fired from the St. Louis Rams (2-14) and Raheem Morris was fired from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-12) after ending the season on a ten-game losing streak, who just one year ago coached the team to a 10 win season.
In Indianapolis, a 14-year run ended for Colts Vice Chairman Bill Polian. Bill and his son, Chris Polian, Vice President and General Manager, were let go by Colts owner Jim Irsay, who declared that it was time for a new direction in Indy.
