“Suddenly King Nebuchadnezzar jumped up in alarm and said, ‘Didn’t we throw three men, bound hand and foot, into the fire?’ ‘That’s right, O king,’ they said. ‘But look!’ he said. ‘I see four men, walking around freely in the fire, completely unharmed! And the fourth man looks like a son of the gods!'” — Daniel 3:24-25

Find Jesus in the Fire

Every single one of us, at some point in our lives, has faced the fire. We have been thrown in unintentionally or sometimes walked in through our actions. But let’s focus not on going into it, and rather on what can we do while we are in it.

What I have always loved about this scripture is that the boys who were sent into the fire were so faith-filled that a non-believer was able to see Jesus among it all. The king was able to see Jesus only because of how the boys acted inside of the fire.

Maybe you are in a fire now, going through a tough season. Please be encouraged that people will be able to see the Jesus inside of you when they witness how you handle these tough seasons. How will you choose to live while in the flames? It has been said that our deepest pains often produce our most effective ministries. Allowing His light to shine in the darkest moments is a testament to our faith-filled love for God. Keep loving. Keep projecting joy. Keep praising His name.

No matter where you are, what is happening or when it’s taking place, the opportunity will always be there for people to see Jesus in any season.
