“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” — Isaiah 43:19

All Things New

I’m not a winter guy at all anymore. My tolerance for the cold has waned and I look forward to warmer weather with greater anticipation more than ever. There is just something about transitioning from a season that isn’t your favorite into a season of expectancy.

Many people are coming off a difficult season — one that saw loss, rejection, failed attempts, closed doors or heartache. But with all things that end, something new always arises. We just need to see and trust what God is doing.

I’m believing that this upcoming season for so many people will be one of transformation, promises and major breakthroughs. God is doing something new and we sometimes fail to see this due to our lenses being blurred.

But can you see it? Can you see the opportunities God is presenting you? Can you see the doors He has closed to protect You? Can you see the doors He is opening that no man could create? Can you see the new people He has placed in your life who are bringing new joy? Can you see the new roles you are being asked to play in work, church or school?

If we see things the way God does, we know this season will bear much fruit. He will make a way where there doesn’t seem to be one — a path through the forest and a river in the desert. Let’s embrace this new season we are walking into. Be fully expectant that your prayers are being heard and God is working. He knows what we need.

God has done it before and He will do it again.
