We’re into Week 2 of the “Table Forty” study through the “Discipleship Handbook,” a 10-week plan from The Increase that examines some of the most important topics encompassing what it looks like to be a disciple of Jesus. This week we look at what it means to be made in God’s image.

In Genesis 1:26-28, we see that God created man and woman in His image, after His likeness, and gave them dominion over the earth. “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.'”
