THIS IS THE GET IN THE GAME PODCAST
WITH SCOTT LINEBRINK
J.T. Chargois is a major league veteran in his fifth year with a big league team. Currently a member of the Tampa Bay Rays, Chargois has also pitched for the Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Dodgers and Seattle Mariners, as well as the Tohoku Raketen Golden Eagles of the Nippon Professional Baseball League in Japan.
His faith in God is important to him, and in this episode of “Get in the Game,” Chargois talks with Scott Linebrink about how he found a true relationship with God later in life during his playing career. He opens up about struggles he’s faced off the field, dealing with injuries, and wondering whether he’s even supposed to still be playing baseball.
Chargois shares candidly about the loneliness he’s felt at times, especially while being injured this season, and what he feels like his purpose is while in the clubhouse and as a member of a major league team.
“Get in the Game” is part of the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network.
