THIS IS THE GET IN THE GAME PODCAST
WITH SCOTT LINEBRINK
Juan Pierre was one of the most feared men on the base paths during his major league career. His 614 career stolen bases rank 18th in MLB history, and he led the majors three times in that category — most notably his career-high 68 in 2010 as a member of the Chicago White Sox, where he was a teammate of “Get in the Game” host Scott Linebrink.
Pierre also played all 162 games in five straight seasons from 2003-2007. But he found himself on the bench more than usual during his time with the Los Angeles Dodgers (2007-09). It was then that he found God. As he tells Linebrink in today’s conversation, had it not been for that trying season, he might not be here today talking about God.
Pierre shares that story and the rest of his testimony this week on “Get in the Game.”
“Get in the Game” is part of the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network.
