THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO & JADE MCCARTHY, FEATURING JORDAN MATTHEWS

Jordan Matthews is a tight end with the San Francisco 49ers, after originally being drafted as a wide receiver by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Over his nine-year career, he has spent time with the Eagles, Bills, Patriots and now the 49ers.

In college, Matthews attended Vanderbilt University, where he hauled in 262 receptions for 3,759 yards and 24 touchdowns, setting many school records.

Today on the podcast, Jordan joins Jade McCarthy and Jason Romano to discuss his transition to the tight end position, suffering a torn ACL at training camp in August 2022, keeping trust in God’s plan after the injury, and his desire to rehab and continue playing football.
