THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING KIRK COUSINS
Kirk Cousins is the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by Washington, and after six seasons there, he signed as a free agent with the Vikings in 2018.
This past season, Cousins led the Vikings to 13 wins and an NFC North division title and orchestrated the greatest comeback in NFL history, quarterbacking Minnesota to a 39-36 victory over Indianapolis after trailing 33-0 at halftime. He was named to his fourth Pro Bowl in 2022 and won the 2022 Bart Star Award.
Today on the podcast, Kirk Cousins shares what his favorite “God moment” was from this past season, his involvement with a new Netflix documentary, and his intentionality in how he represents Christ on the field.
“If Jesus rose from the dead, you have to accept all that He said; if He didn’t rise from the dead, why worry about any of what He said? The issue on which everything hangs is not whether or not you like His teaching but whether or not He rose from the dead.” -Tim Keller
