THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING MATT ROTH
Matt Roth is a former college basketball player for Indiana University and currently the head basketball coach at Blackhawk Christian School, a high school in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After his friend and former Blackhawk Christian basketball coach Marc Davidson passed away from cancer in 2022, Roth stepped in to become the head coach. In 2023, he led his team to the Class 2A Indiana state championship.
During his playing days at IU, Roth was a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and helped the Hoosiers to the Sweet Sixteen in 2012.
Today on the podcast, we talk to Matt Roth about winning a state championship, replacing a high school coaching legend, modeling Jesus in his life, investing in the next generation, and bringing glory to the Lord.
“Our firm foundation we always talk about is giving glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
