THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING JONATHAN ISAAC
Jonathan Isaac is a forward with the Orlando Magic, selected sixth overall in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Florida State, where he excelled in his one season with the Seminoles.
In 2019-20, Isaac had a breakout season, averaging 11.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game, but two injuries to his knee shortened that season and caused him to miss the entire 2020-21 and 2021-22 NBA seasons. He made his return to the court on Jan. 23, 2023, and played 11 games last season.
He is also an author — his new book, “Why I Stand,” released in May 2022 — and the founder of UNITUS, a clothing and apparel brand launched in July 2023.
Today on the podcast, we welcome Jonathan Isaac back to the show to discuss his new clothing brand, what it means to honor God in his life, the importance of patience and preparation, and abiding in Christ.
It was Jesus’s love that not only changed the world but also you and me! It’s His love that the world needs but He’s not here to show it! It’s on us!! Don’t be quick to forget how He’s loved you in your failure and evil! Thank God for grace!! pic.twitter.com/Ywxx7wd70k
