AJ Griffin is a former NBA player who spent two seasons with the Atlanta Hawks after being selected in the first round (16th overall) of the 2022 NBA Draft out of Duke. In September 2024, he announced he was stepping away from basketball to “follow Jesus” and go into full-time ministry.

Today on the podcast, we talk to AJ Griffin about his decision to walk away from the NBA, whether he would ever return to basketball, his goals and desires in ministry, and the importance of serving in the local church.
