Pittsburgh Pirates outfield Andrew McCutchen is now a father.
Clutch and his wife, Maria, announced over Instagram the birth of their son Steel Stefan McCutchen. The newest edition to the family arrived Monday at 3:21 a.m., weighing eight pounds and 15 ounces.

McCutchen, 31, made the announcement of the pregnancy last June in a video titled “My World.”

The 2013 NL MVP married Maria in 2014 in Pittsburgh. McCutchen will have a couple of months to enjoy his son Steel before heading off to Spring Training.
