A scary scene unfolded in a Triple-A game between the Durham Bulls and Norfolk Tides on Thursday night. Bulls pitcher Tyler Zombro was hit in the head by a line drive, prompting the teams to suspend the game.
Tonight’s game has been suspended in the 8th inning after Bulls pitcher Tyler Zombro was hit by a batted ball.

A tweet from the team Friday morning said Zombro is still at Duke University Hospital and the updates overnight were “positive.”

On Sunday, Rays manger Kevin Cash said Zombro was out of bed and walking with assistance, adding that he was “still progressing in the right direction.”
