Cody Latimer has seen the ups and downs of being an NFL player.
He was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
He was a member of the Broncos 2015 World Championship team that defeated the Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50.
He’s also struggled to get on the field, only catching a total of sixteen passes in his three seasons with Denver.
But it’s what happened off the field recently that has Latimer recharged, rejuvenated and made new.
On Sunday July 1, Latimer professed his faith in Jesus Christ by being baptized.

The baptism took place at Edge Church in Centennial, Colorado. Latimer tweeted that this was a “life change.”
His wife Jaime also shared the picture on Instagram, stating how proud she was of her husband and ending her post by saying “Heavens rejoicing.”

Latimer hopes to take his new faith in Christ on the field of battle in 2017 and in a recent interview with the Denver Post, says this upcoming season is going to be a breakout year for him.
“I am very ready. The page has turned,” Latimer told the Post. “It’s a whole new book … The confidence I had in college is back. I have that swagger back. It’s taken longer than expected. But as long as it happens, that’s the key. It’s going to be a big year.”
