College Football Game of the Week: Army vs Navy

Army vs Navy is always one of the most anticipated games on the college football calendar.

Last season Army beat the Navy for the first time in 14 years.

Will it be back to back wins or will Navy beat Army and capture the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy? Here’s our prediction for their 118th meeting.

Jason Romano: Army 30 – Navy 27 – My favorite game to watch all year. Army had a six game winning streak snapped last week, Navy started 5-0 but has lost five of six and has struggled recently. I like the Cadets to get the win.

Justin Adams: Army 33 – Navy 31 – Navy is favored in this game, despite losing five out of its last six games. Army is led behind quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw who leads the team with 1,472 yards rushing as well as 11 touchdowns. Bradshaw will rush for over 100 yards and score twice as Army upsets Navy for a second year in a row.

Jon Ackerman: Army 33 – Navy 24 – Army has the No. 1 rushing attack in the land (368.1 yards per game); Navy is No. 2 (347.5). So this game figures to come down to stopping the run, where Army is again slightly better. I’ll take the Black Knights to sink a Navy squad that’s lost five of its past six.
