NFL Game of the Week: Oakland Raiders vs Denver Broncos

Week 4 of the NFL season takes us to the Mile High City as 2 AFC West goes do battle at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

The Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos both sit at 2-1 after losing games ont he east coast last week. This game has more importance as both teams are one game behind the Kansas City Chiefs in the division.

Last week, our team went 3-0 in picking the Eagles to beat the Giants. Will it happen again this week?

Jason Romano: Raiders 24 – Broncos 17 – Oakland is just a better team than Denver and despite playing one of the toughest places to win in the NFL, I think the Raiders rebound from their loss against Washington and beat the Broncos. Expect a dominating performance from Khalil Mack.

UPSET PICK: Dolphins 31 – Saints 21 – New Orleans is a 3-point favorite but I think back to back outdoor games catch up with them and Miami rebounds from an abysmal performance against the Jets to win this game at home.

Justin Adams: Broncos 24 – Raiders 20 – Even at 2-1, this is a must-win game for Denver. With the bye week coming up, and then a home game against the slumping Giants on Sunday Night, Denver will play three straight road games. Expect this to be a back and forth game and come down to a late stop by the Broncos defense to secure a victory and send them to the bye at 3-1.

UPSET PICK: Texans 27 – Titans 20 – Call me crazy, but I’m becoming a believer in Deshaun Watson. Last week, he threw for 301 yards and 2 TDs on the Patriots defense and he’s playing against a Tennessee defense this week that ranks 27th in the league. That will bode well for a Texans team that will look to get its three-game home stand off to a great start.

Jon Ackerman:  Broncos 27 – Raiders 24 – Both teams are looking to rebound after frustrating road losses last week. Denver owns the better defense, which will be the difference in this division rivalry.

UPSET PICK: Giants 30 – Buccaneers 17 – New York isn’t going 0-4. The Giants get their first win here, taking out a Tampa team that is allowing more than 400 yards a game.
