NFL Game of the Week: Philadelphia Eagles vs Los Angeles Rams

The top two quarterbacks selected in the 2016 NFL Draft face off in a marquee NFC matchup. Jared Goff (No. 1) leads his Los Angeles Rams (9-3) against Carson Wentz (No. 2) and the Philadelphia Eagles (10-2).

A victory for Philadelphia will clinch them the NFC East title. A win for Los Angeles will keep them a game ahead of Seattle in the NFC West.

Here’s our picks for the showdown in Los Angeles:

Jason Romano: Eagles 30 – Rams 24 — Philly is staying out West this week and I think a loss will do them good. Eagles fans shouldn’t panic. I think they get back on the winning track this week in Los Angeles.

Justin Adams: Eagles 30 – Rams 27 – The Eagles will be without tight end Zach Ertz which will hurt in the red zone. But Wentz will lean on receivers Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor and a strong running game to get the road win.

Jon Ackerman: Eagles 31 – Rams 27 – The Eagles are the most well-rounded team in football and I think their loss in Seattle was good for them after a nine-game winning streak. Pressure mounts after each win, so now that’s gone and it’s time to close out the year. L.A. is vulnerable against the run and Philly is second-best in the NFL at running.
