THIS IS THE GET IN THE GAME PODCAST
WITH SCOTT LINEBRINK
Mark Herzlich played in the NFL for six seasons, all with the New York Giants. He was a member of the Super Bowl XLVI-winning team and also won an ESPY for Best Comeback Athlete in 2011. He is now a college football analyst and also works for the International Justice Mission. And he authored a book titled, “What It Takes: Fighting For My Life and My Love of the Game,” which chronicles his fight against a rare bone disease that led to the discovery of cancer in his leg.
Herzlich thought he might never play football again after the cancer diagnosis, and he shares that story this week on “Get in the Game” with Scott Linebrink. Herzlich talks about how that experience led him to a relationship with God. He also discusses his work in domestic violence prevention, the importance he places on mental health and what true manhood looks like.
“Get in the Game” is part of the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network.
