Steven Souza is currently an outfielder for of the Chicago Cubs, after signing with the club in January. He was originally selected in the third round of the 2007 MLB Amateur Draft by the Washington Nationals. Seven years later, he made his MLB debut with Washington.
In 2015, Souza was traded to Tampa and played three seasons there from 2015-2017. In his final season with the Rays, Souza hit a career-high 30 home runs. In 2018, he was once again traded, this time to Arizona, where he struggled through injuries in 2018 and 2019 with the Diamondbacks.
On this episode of the podcast, he shares how he is coping with the coronavirus pandemic, training with his wife, how his previous MLB spring training experiences have helped him deal with uncertainty, his amazing testimony of faith in Christ, and his desire to share the hope found in Jesus with others.
