NEW PODCAST: Emmanuel Acho - 'Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man'

THIS IS EPISODE 571 OF THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST

Emmanuel Acho is the bestselling author of the new book “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man.” He’s also the creator and host of the popular YouTube series by the same name.

Acho grew up in Dallas and played college football at the University of Texas. He was selected in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, and his NFL career spanned four seasons with the Browns, Eagles and Giants. Following his playing career, Acho launched a successful broadcasting career at ESPN, and he is now with FOX Sports.

On this episode of the podcast, Acho shares about how “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man” was born, becoming a New York Times bestselling author, the most uncomfortable conversation he’s ever had, writing a book with Oprah Winfrey’s production company, and how he’s staying grounded in his faith as his platform has increased.

(You can listen to our conversation with Emmanuel and his brother, Sam, from Episode 5 of the podcast in 2017 here.)
