THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING MARQUIS DANIELS
Marquis Daniels is a former NBA player who is currently the director of player development for the Auburn Tigers basketball team under head coach Bruce Pearl. Daniels played his college basketball at Auburn, where he was named All-SEC second-team his senior year.
Daniels wasn’t drafted into the NBA, but signed with the Dallas Mavericks in 2003. In his 10-year career, he was a member of four teams (Dallas, Indiana, Boston and Milwaukee) and played in two NBA Finals (2006, 2010).
Today on the podcast, Marquis Daniels talks about his role with Auburn, giving back to young people, his time in the NBA, the injury that almost ended his career, and the obstacles he’s had to overcome recently that have drawn him closer to God.
