Kerry Carpenter is an outfielder and designated hitter with the Detroit Tigers. He was selected in the 19th round of the 2019 MLB Draft by Detroit and made his MLB debut on Aug. 10, 2022.

In 98 minor league games in 2022, he hit .313 with 30 home runs and was named Eastern League (Double-A) Player of the Month in May. A few months later, he was called up to the big-league club, and in 31 games with the Tigers he hit .252 with six home runs.
