Danny Woodhead is a former NFL running back who played 10 seasons with the New York Jets, New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers and Baltimore Ravens. He played in Super Bowl XLVI with New England, catching a touchdown pass from Tom Brady.

In college at Division-II Chadron State in Nebraska, Woodhead scored 109 total touchdowns and rushed for nearly 8,000 yards during his four years. In 2024, Woodhead was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia.

Today on the podcast, Danny Woodhead joins Matt and Jason to discuss the importance of reading Scripture, what it means to hang out with Jesus, following God’s call on his life to become a young adults pastor with his wife, and what it means to be named to the College Football Hall of Fame.
