NFL Week 10 Recap: Best Performances/Play of the Week

The push for the playoffs are in full view as the Week 10 games are in the books. Several surprising contenders are the Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans who all lead their divisions.

But we start our list of the best performances with a team who’s currently on the outside looking into the postseason.

Adrian Clayborn (6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles) – How good was Atlanta Falcons defensive end Adrian Clayborn on Sunday? He recorded six sacks and forced two fumbles in the win against the Dallas Cowboys. Not too bad for a player who came into the game with only two sacks on the season and didn’t record a sack in the last five games.

Cam Newton (21/35, 254 yards, 4 TDs, 5 carries, 95 yards) – The Miami Dolphins had no answer for Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers offense. He led the Panthers to a franchise-record 548 total yards on offense and third straight victory.

Jared Goff (25/37, 355 yards, 3 TDs) – Jared Goff threw for a career-high 355 yards in the 33-7 win over the Houston Texans. In the month of November, he has thrown seven touchdowns and no interceptions. Goff will be tested next week against the Minnesota Vikings and their 12th ranked passing defense.

Mark Ingram (21 carries, 131 yards, 3 TDs) – Mark Ingram and the New Orleans Saints ran all over the Buffalo Bills. He has carried the ball 21 times for 131 yards and three touchdowns in the 47-10 rout over the Bills. He has scored seven touchdowns in the five games since the bye.

Robert Woods (8 receptions, 171 yards, 2 TDs) – Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods exploded for two touchdowns in the 3rd quarter versus the Houston Texans. His biggest play was scoring on a 94-yard pass.

Honorable Mention

Adam Thielen – 8 receptions, 161 yards, TD. Thielen is third in NFL in receiving yards.

Alvin Kamara – 12 carries, 106 yards, TD

Case Keenum – 21/29, 304 yards, 4 TDs, 2 INT

Play of the Week – New England Patriots Dion Lewis takes the kickoff return to the house!
