Mother’s Day came early for the Simmons’ household.
Justin Simmons, a third-year safety with the Denver Broncos, announced the birth of his daughter, Laney Rae Simmons, on his Instagram page.

Justin — who describes himself as “an imperfect and unworthy follower of Jesus saved by grace” on Twitter — and his wife, Taryn, made the announcement of their pregnancy last October.
On the field, Simmons became a full-time starter last season. Playing in 13 games, he racked up 46 tackles, two interceptions and a sack.
