Matt Holliday played 15 seasons in the big leagues with the Colorado Rockies, Oakland A’s, St. Louis Cardinals and New York Yankees. He was a seven-time MLB All-Star, four-time Silver Slugger, 2011 World Series champion, and a 2007 NLCS MVP.
Matt’s oldest son, Jackson, is an infielder with the Baltimore Orioles. He was selected No. 1 overall by Baltimore in the 2022 MLB Draft and made his MLB debut in April 2024.
Next in the family line is Ethan, a high school senior at Stillwater (Oklahoma) High School. He is one of the top high school prospects in the country and expected to be one of the first players selected in the 2025 MLB Draft this summer.
The Holliday family will be featured on the cover of the Spring 2025 edition of Sports Spectrum Magazine.
Today, we sit down with Matt, Jackson and Ethan to talk about their baseball journey, the unique family bond they have, experiencing Jackson’s MLB debut, favorite baseball players, and how proud Matt is to see his sons following Jesus.
