THIS IS EPISODE 491 OF THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
Jeff Scott is the head football coach with South Florida. He spent the previous 11 years with Clemson, where he was a co-offensive coordinator since 2015 and a part of five straight College Football Playoff appearances and two national championships (2016, 2018).
Prior to coaching, Scott was a player at Clemson under coach Tommy Bowden, and he lettered three years (2000–2002) as a wide receiver.
In December 2019, Scott got his first chance as a head coach, taking the job with South Florida.
On this episode of the podcast, we talk to Scott about his new role with South Florida, how he’s coaching amidst a pandemic, the lessons he’s learned during the quarantine, his journey of faith, and the impact Coach Dabo Swinney had on Scott’s walk with Christ.
