Sam Acho has played nine seasons in the NFL with the Buccaneers, Bears, Cardinals and Bills. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals after playing his college football at the University of Texas.
Acho spent four seasons with the Cardinals before signing with the Bears in 2015. He played four seasons in Chicago, then had a brief stint with Buffalo before spending the latter part of 2019 with Tampa.
He is now an author and his new book, “Let the World See You: How to Be Real in a World Full of Fakes,” releases Oct. 13.
On today’s podcast, we talk to Acho about the process of writing his first book, why we’re all worth getting to know, how to be be real in a world of fakes, the story of meeting President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush, and why he’s grieving for our country right now.
