SS PODCAST: High school baseball phenom Walker Martin on trusting in God's direction

Walker Martin is a baseball player who just finished his high school career at Eaton High School in Eaton, Colorado. In his senior season of 2023, he hit .633 with 50 hits in 79 at-bats and led the nation in home runs with 20 in just 29 games. His team won its third consecutive state baseball title, compiling a combined 78-3 record in 2021-2023. For his baseball success, Martin was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Colorado.

The two-sport star was also Eaton’s starting quarterback and led the team to three consecutive state football titles, while also winning the Class 3A state football player of the year award.

He is committed to Arkansas to play baseball, but is expected to be a first-round pick in the 2023 MLB Draft and could turn pro depending on where he is selected.
