SS PODCAST: NFL wide receiver Robbie Chosen on changing his name, growing in his faith

Robbie Chosen is an NFL wide receiver who has played nine seasons with the New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins. He signed with the San Francisco 49ers on Aug. 3. He originally went undrafted in 2016 after a college career at Temple, but signed with the Jets and became a starter in his rookie year. In 2020, he enjoyed his best season with 95 receptions, 1,096 yards and three touchdowns.

Today on the podcast, Robbie Chosen joins us to share about his experiences growing up in Florida, his time with the Jets, and the lessons learned from veteran teammates. He discusses his faith journey, the significance of changing his name to “Chosen” (from a surname of Anderson), and the importance of patience and trust in God’s plan.
