Tim Tebow, since being released Eagles in 2015, has taken to coaching — not from the sidelines, though.
The former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner took to the stage on Monday night at the Greenville News’ Upstate Sports Awards at the TD Convention Center in Greenville, South Carolina.
Contrary to the typical message given to student-athletes of simply excelling within one’s sport, Tebow encouraged these students to set their focus beyond just the realm of athletics. He urged the athletes to use their God-given platforms to bring glory to Christ and impact the people around them.
