Stephen Curry donates $118,000 to Houston families affected by Hurricane Harvey

Stephen Curry is one of the greatest shooters in NBA history. He holds the record for most 3-pointers made in an NBA season with 402 in 2015-16. He’s also second and third on that list. The guy can shoot.

On Thursday, a video appeared on Instagram from the organization Active Faith Sports, where Curry announced that for every 3-pointer he made in the video, he’d donate $1,000, to go with $100,000 he originally pledged, to help those devastated by Hurricane Harvey in Houston.

Curry made 18 of the 25 3-pointers, bringing the total he will donate to $118,000.

The two-time MVP and two-time NBA champion had a message at the end of the video to all the families who have been hit hard by the storm: “Praise to the families, we got your back.”
