SS PODCAST: Former Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles on retiring from NFL, joy of fatherhood

Nick Foles played 11 seasons in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams, Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts. He was selected in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft by Philadelphia, and in his second season led the NFL in passer rating (119.2) and tied an NFL record with seven touchdown passes in a game against the Oakland Raiders.

In 2017, Foles stepped in for injured starting quarterback Carson Wentz and led the Eagles to their first Super Bowl victory. He took home the Super Bowl LII MVP honors as Philadelphia beat New England, 41-33.

Foles announced his retirement last month and will be honored before the Eagles’ game Monday night against Atlanta.
