Riley Gaines is a former University of Kentucky All-American swimmer who is now an activist, podcast host and author. Her new book, “Swimming Against the Current,” released May 21.
Today on the podcast, Riley discusses her journey of faith and the importance of keeping Jesus at the center of her life. She also shares her experience of competing against a biological male transgender athlete while she was at Kentucky, as well as the fear and intimidation tactics used to silence her from speaking out. Gaines also shares how she’s grown in her faith during this time of being thrust into the spotlight.
