Hannah Hidalgo is a sophomore on the Notre Dame women’s basketball team. As a freshman in 2023-24, she shined for the Irish, averaging 22.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 4.6 steals per game. She led her team to the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16 and was named to the AP All-American first team, the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and the 2024 ACC Tournament MVP.
In high school, as Hidalgo was coached by her father, Orlando, she was named the New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year and won co-MVP honors at the 2023 McDonald’s All-American game.
Today on the podcast, Hannah Hidalgo shares how she’s grown as a Christian in the midst of her basketball success, the excitement surrounding the rise of women’s college basketball, playing for an audience of One, and the importance of staying grounded in her faith.
